Sure, isn’t running against , but that hasn’t stopped those two from being the primary focus in the minds of many. Here’s a YouTube video that someone linked us to, looking at the claims the McCain campaign has made against Obama, and in favor of Palin. Good for a laugh, if nothing else.

In case you haven’t been watching CNN all day long like I have (I know, exciting), John McCain and Barack Obama roasted each other on Thursday night at the Alfred E. Smith Charity Dinner. If your idea of “funny” is along the lines of Bob Saget’s roast on Comedy Central, then this probably isn’t your brand of humor. However, if you’ve been following the election religiously, tuning in to all of the debates and torturing yourself with each repetitive news brief, then this will serve as a much needed mini-vacation. In stark contrast to Tuesday night’s showdown over campaign ads, this forum gave the candidates a chance to lighten the mood. It also gave Americans the chance to see the candidates as human (as opposed to political robots) and funny. Or as having the ability to read the speech of someone who is mildly funny.

Palin as President

What would it be like if Republican Vice Presidential Nominee Sarah Palin took over as President for John McCain? Here’s a little peak into Sarah Palin’s Oval Office, if she were President.

When you visit the link, don’t forget to click on most of the objects in the office. This is great for me, because it might be my only chance to see what would actually happen if McCain/Palin won the election.

Sarah Palin

When John McCain chose Sarah Palin for his VP running mate, we conservatives cheered, “Fight fire with fire!” Little did we expect the left would show their true sexist colors and attack her as vehemently as they have. After all, doesn’t the left ostensibly cater to women? But Palin just doesn’t fit their stereotypes, and I’m offering 10 of the many reasons why they so detest her…

I found this video pretty funny. I’m a regular listener to talk radio, and I heard this song on The Glenn Beck Program. It’s nationally syndicated, and the show is the third most listened to in the country. He’s a lot different than other talk show hosts because he’s more personable, and adds humor unlike others. He also has a television program every evening at 7PM and 9PM on CNN Headline News. You can get more information about him here.

Be afraid… be VERY afraid!  Either this kid is going to be a great comedic actor when he grows up OR he’s going to be the downfall of mankind.

Okay, I get the message… I need to vote.  Considering that I already plan to vote as I have every single time when I’ve HAD TO (yes, I say it like my life depends on it because it sort of does), I can totally ignore the depth behind the surface of this video and totally just focus on the facade.  And that facade is HOT!  Seriously, you have Jessica Alba and a bubbly Hayden Panettiere (she’s legal now, right?) promoting A MUZZLE!  I’m not saying I’m into S&M or anything like that (but check out the website for this - TheMuzzler.com), nor do I approve of the symbolic “a girl should just look pretty and not speak” (remember, I’m not about depth in this post), but these two can make anything look HOT!

Have I emphasized the hotness of this yet?

In all seriousness, I can appreciate it when people, whoever they are, can go against the grain and make fun of themselves to whatever degree.  And while Alba and Panettiere do it well, in the end, it really is a funny video with a very strong message for people, especially the youth, to go out there and vote.  SO young people, please register and vote.  Damn, I guess I lied about not looking for the depth in this video.

I just figured that your life depended on voting as well.

In the latest edition of his Diddy Vlog (this would apparently be #24, if we want to be exact), hip hop mogul Diddy seems to have resorted to lunacy in his attempts to get his fans to get out there to register and vote this November. As you’ll see in the video, Diddy is scared. The culprit? Sarah Palin. Hey, I’m as scared of her as the next guy, but at the very least, I can articulate why I’m scared. It would have been nice if Diddy would have went that extra mile to actually put a message out there.

In the video, he does show that clip of Sarah Palin talking with Katie Couric about which magazines and newspapers she reads to keep up with everything going on - you know, the one where Sarah couldn’t name one single source? But still, that isn’t enough. At least at the end he throws out the call to action. Get out there and vote, peeps.
